What is ArtID and will the project of introducing a token to the market be successful?
What is ArtID?
ArtID is a digital platform, created to buy and sell works of art with an innovative blockchain-based digital certificate “art ID” to provide security for buyers and sellers. The company has more than 1,000 different artworks on its platform and has so far supported the purchase of 6,000 artworks.
6 main features of the Art ID certificate
The company, specializing in selling and buying works of art, introduces its ARTID token based on Ethereum (ETH). According to the information given on 29th April, the company wants to raise 5 million euros, with a soft cap of 580,000 euros in the first week.
Investors in ARTID will have access to a percentage of the company’s profits. The offer foresees raising 1 million dollars in the public offer and 4 million in private turnover.
Security Token
The advisor of the platform for STO (Security Token Offering) is STOKR — a platform based on blockchain technology, which helps innovative undertakings to raise funds from investors.
Stefano De Nart, head of finance at STOKR, explained that the ArtID platform allows investors to buy and sell works that have been verified online and are certified for authenticity and security, and is therefore increasingly recognised in the world of investors and artists. He added that taking into account the current economic situation, the company has already obtained considerable financing from investors in the first week.
Crypto art
Some artists interested in blockchain technology and cryptos draw great inspiration from these issues and create works of art based on these themes.
Vesa Kivinen, one of the creators of crypt-based art, who sells each of his works for 1 Bitcoin (BTC), believes that investing in the artists’ works can be as big an investment as digital assets. According to Vesa, art behaves like Bitcoin in its beginnings, that is, its value is constantly growing.
The artist’s works are owned by some well-known personalities from the crypto community, including the creator of Litecoin, Charlie Lee or Craig Wright claims to be the creator of Bitcoin (Satoshi Nakamoto).
